Broadstreet Wins First-Ever LION Vendor Award in Nashville
Setting a new standard in ad management for local news, city, and regional magazines, Broadstreet was recently recognized by LION Publishers for industry excellence.
Publishers from around the country gathered to recognize excellence in journalism, business, and technology as part of the Local Independent Online News Association’s first-ever LION Publisher Awards in Nashville. With 45 publishers across 15 categories selected as finalists for LION’s inaugural awards, Broadstreet was fortunate enough to be selected for the LION Service Award.
The LION Service Award recognizes excellence among vendors and service providers who offer best-in-class products and customer service for LION Publishers. The award is also meant to recognize businesses that consistently rank high among publishers for helping with business, editorial, or technology needs, and those that support the broader mission of LION Publishers.

LION’s team of independent judges noted that Broadstreet and its founder, Kenny Katzgrau, have been a part of the LION ecosystem since the very beginning. “For nearly a decade, he’s worked hand-in-hand with local publishers, and has been sincerely dedicated to rebuilding local news with business-side innovation and peerless support.”
Wrote another judge, “Broadstreet first impressed me with their Facebook integration into ads when a publisher requested the feature. From that point on they have worked directly with publishers to meet their needs and to dream alongside them to create new ideas.”
