The Broadstreet Team

Broadstreet exists for one reason: to help the little guy beat Google and Meta when it comes to ad sales. That has been true since the very beginning of our journey, and it will keep being true until the fat lady sings. We started in 2012 with the mission to help small publications who care deeply about their community thrive by providing them with cutting-edge ad management technology. Broadstreet exists to help people like you win often, and win big.

Enter: WP-Insert

The latest step in our mission to support the global publisher community? The acquisition of a powerful ad management plugin called WP-Insert. With thousands of active users, WP-Insert has already been serving the community. Now that it’s under our wing, we will be maintaining its already-excellent features as well as expanding its functionality to impress and delight existing users and newcomers alike.

Service Will Be Uninterrupted

WP-Insert users can rest assured that the terms of use will be the exact same.

  1. The pricing will not change now, or ever. It will remain free, open-source, and accessible to everyone.
  2. All existing users will see absolutely no interruption to service.
  3. No features of the plugin will be removed. You can continue to use it exactly as you are now!

Long story short, nothing is breaking, and the only changes we will ever make will be feature enhancements. Broadstreet is 100% committed to the success of all existing WP-Insert users. We acquired the plugin to help its user base even more, not to break the things they need.

A Perfect Fit

This is a match made in heaven. WP-Insert started from the same kernel as Broadstreet. Its creator, Namith Jawahar, saw a need and filled it.

“I wrote the plugin about 16 years ago for personal use. Quick Adsense (I own it now) was the only other popular plugin in this niche, [and] WP-insert was several levels above it in terms of UX and features.”

Namith, just like us, built the thing he wished he had. Now, as he hands it off to us, we’ll carry this same spirit into the future.

14 Years of Serving Publishers

We’ve spent over a decade building things to help small publishers and niche community media operators, including:

  • Daybreak, a free lead-gathering modal that’s brought in tens of thousands of dollars of revenue for publishers.
  • Clear Performance Reporting, helping publishers clearly demonstrate the value of their publication to their advertisers.
  • Hundreds of ad formats that are easy to launch and manage. Ad formats that help publishers secure more advertisers and keep them around, because they perform and look better than anything else on the market.
  • And many, many more.

The proof is in the pudding. In the below video is Troy Dodds, general manager at Western Sydney Publishing Group. He describes building a Local Authority ad during a keynote presentation, sending it to a prospect and offering to run it free for two days. The prospect subsequently purchased the campaign for $1,200 per month with industry exclusivity—Troy’s first significant digital sale. We have equipped thousands of publishers like Troy across the globe with the tools they need to crush digital ad sales.
