Job – Javascript Developer, Contract to Hire

You will help us create innovative HTML5 ad formats using our proprietary ad platform, which utilizes HTML, javascript, SASS/CSS, and other tools. Responsibilities include:

• Building HTML5 Ad formats with responsive, clean, performant code
• Writing user-facing field/input descriptions
• Bug and cross-browser testing
• Working with our QA staffer to implement fixes and adjustments
• Working with our designer to obtain designs where needed
• Raising ideas on how to improve an existing workflow or ad format

Requirements

• Strong experience with HTML5, javascript, and CSS
• Ability to write clean, well-formatted, well-documented code adhering to a code standard such as AirBnB’s javascript style guide: https://github.com/airbnb/javascript
• You take pride in your work, always look for best practices, and double-check it for bugs and completeness before marking a task as complete
• Have an understanding and ability to write basic algorithms

Nice to Haves

• A github account with one or more public repos that showcase your work quality
• Professional experience with React, Vue, Angular, or a comparable frontend framework
• Good taste when it comes to web design
• Experience with Ruby, PHP, or another server-side language
